Proud of clearing the burgeoning shelves in his bedroom of over 900 DVDs.

We’re getting there….Bryan is slowly but surely packing up years of DVD and book collections. Six DVD binders have been filled with his films. It took a bit of convincing to accomplish this task, but it is almost done. Removing the cumbersome jewel cases and placing his movies into the binders will create more space and possibly prolong the life of his beloved films. They usually ended up strewn around his room in random fashion, picking up dust and scratches. We hope this will help him stay neater and more organized. Fingers crossed.

He’s been working with staff to cull some of his books and clothing, giving things to charity. The boxes are getting quite high in the living room where the contents of the last fourteen years are being “staged”.

We thought he was to have moved before we went on vacation last week but that was not to be. Repairs and repainting the house he will be moving to has taken longer than originally thought. So, we wait for official word of a move-in date.

Hope it is soon. He is getting quite anxious to move in and get on with his life in a new space with the same staff and roommate as he has now. Each day of our trip Bryan asked if I had heard anything about a move-in date. Each day I had to say “no”.

Meanwhile, there are a still plenty of items that need to be packed up in the old Doylestown apartment. The climb up those steep flights of wooden stairs will not be missed by any of us, that’s for sure.

Stay Tuned for the final installment of the “Move Saga”. Hopefully it will be just around the corner!
